BIOGRAPHY…….

Ansel Adams

Michelle is an independent visual artist based in the Adelaide Hills in South Australia since 2006.
She is entirely self-taught in both photography and post-processing.
Her work is predominately in conceptual contemporary photography and digital art, but does extend to a small collection of oil pastels and watercolours.
She is a regular exhibitor in the local annual Adelaide Fringe Festival and The South Australian Living Artist Festival (SALA).
Her most successful series so far is the Handwritten Dictionary which took 5 years from conception to completion.
“The concept of my artwork usually just comes to me from a simple idea that grows and forms into something that can eventually be hung on the wall….or worn on the body!”
“I try to be unconventional in my approach, and to push boundaries.”
“My main tools are a 40 year old Minolta Film SLR, Canon 5D DSLR, Nokia 12MP and iPhone 12MP Digital Phone Cameras”
